Road Trip: Scuba Tiger, Tampi-Tampi, Semporna

Tampi-Tampi is undeniably beautiful. I remember when I was here few years ago I was awestruck by the beauty of its surrounding. The water is so blue. And the breeze is so calming. What a perfect place for winding down and get away from the hectic life.

Last time, I don't think that the place is known as Scuba Tiger. From what I saw major changes have been made to the place. There are more chalets. More conducive amenities. But the beauty of the place is still untouched. Which is more important.

To enter this place you have to pay an entrance fee. When I looked up for information about this place on the internet I found that the entrance fee is vary. Some said that they paid RM10 but as of November 2015 we paid RM5 to enter. So maybe it depends on the management of the place. Also, if you're having a meal at the restaurant you'll have to show your ticket. If you need to pay RM10, you just have to pay RM5. Well, at least that's what I heard and read.

There are few things you can do while visiting this place. You can swim, do water activities (head over to my friend's blog HERE for the list of water activities) or just lounging about. If you're keen to visit this place and you're an avid diver or you want to take diving course you can read about it HERE. But if you're not interested in this kind of thing and you just want to admire the beauty of nature then just come to this place and do just that. You HAVE to see it for yourself to know what I'm talking about.

My friends and I didn't bring any extra clothes so we didn't get the chance to enjoy  any water activity. But we did had a good time soaking up the beauty of Tampi-Tampi.

One interesting fact about Tampi-Tampi is it was the place where 'Duyung' was filmed. I think that's how Tampi-Tampi gained its popularity among the local people in Sabah because before that I never heard of it. If you're visiting Bukit Tengkorak, your trip wouldn't be complete without including this place into your itinerary. Even if you don't want to do anything related to water. Just sit, relax and enjoy the view.

Hope y'all have a good day.
Till then.
